How we helped Parwaze
Due to his assailant having no means to pay compensation a claim was submitted to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA). Personal Injury claims executive, Alasdair Wannan dealt with the claim at the request of Maureen. In working out how much compensation the CICA should pay Parwaze we had to value the claim for them which included instructing a number of medical and care experts and Counsel (Barrister). After the claim was valued the CICA agreed to pay out their maximum award of £500,000. As the claim settled by agreement, the case did not have to go through the CICA appeal process.
