Professional experience
Dawn is a Partner in our Employment group. She has a wealth of experience in all aspects of employment law and acts for a wide range of clients in contentious and non-contentious matters. Whilst Dawn strongly believes that the best way to resolve employment problems is in the workplace, when that is not possible she regularly represents clients before the Employment Tribunal. She is also an enthusiastic supporter of the use of mediation as a means to resolve workplace-related disputes.
Dawn regularly provides training sessions and seminars which clarify the realities of employment law in an informal environment, enabling attendees to implement legislation effectively in the workplace. She is highly regarded for her ability to provide practical, comprehensive advice and for her informal yet inspiring training delivery style.
Dawn regularly advises licensing clients on the very specific Human Resources issues which are encountered in licensed premises. She provides specific training on the new Licensing Act to ensure that licence holders are equipped to deal with the employment issues raised by the new legislation.
Dawn is recognised by the Chambers and Partners 2011 directory as a 'Leader in her Field'.
