Professional experience

Garry is a Senior Associate in Lindsays Commercial Property group with 15 years' experience in the commercial property market. Garry deals with a wide range of matters focusing on acquisitions (including investment purchases), security work and business acquisitions and sales (including nursing homes and licensed premises). He also has considerable experience in tenant-based leasing work, having acted for a number of high street retailers, including a major sports retailer.

Garry also has experience in the renewable energy and rural property sectors, most recently having advised various landowners in connection with a wind-farm option/leasing contract with a well-known wind-farm company.

Credential highlights

• Acting on behalf of a major multi-national pharmaceutical company in a re-financing and security package, which included finance for the provision of an expansion to their existing production facility in Scotland. Also acting for the same company in a major letting of a new storage and warehousing facility in Scotland.
