John is well known and respected across the country as being a leading adviser in the hospitality and leisure industry. Clients from all over the UK come to John for assistance with the most complicated of projects.
John has been a licensing specialist for over 37 years. In that time he has built and retained a hugely impressive client list and a great knowledge and understanding of the industry. John is recognised by the Chambers and Partners 2011 directory as a 'Leader in his Field', and is accredited as a Specialist in Liquor Licensing Law by the Law Society of Scotland.
He is particularly focused on the licensing aspects of new developments and how that interrelates with planning applications and permissions. He also has a wide range of Civic Government and taxi experience.
