Professional experience

Karen McHale joined Lindsays as a Trainee in 2005 and qualified in 2007 after specialising in rural property. Karen has a range of experience dealing with all aspects of rural property law, including the acquisition and disposal of rural property, crofting law, agricultural holdings law, renewables and servitudes for access and utilities. Karen has a broad range of skills and in addition to handling conveyancing transactions, also deals with applications to the Scottish Land Court and the crofting and agricultural holdings legislation. Karen often works in conjunction with our Commercial Property colleagues, advising on the rural aspects of commercial transactions. Karen also advises clients on buying and selling property at auction, including drafting articles of roup.
