Marjory Blair
Director, Glasgow

Professional experience

Marjory is a Director in our Family Law team and is based in our Glasgow office. She has a broad Civil Litigation background, but now practices exclusively in Family Law. She has experience in both the Sheriff Court (including conducting proofs and Appeals to the Sheriff Principal) and in the Court of Session.

She advises on all matters arising out of the breakdown of relationships including financial provision on divorce, rights and responsibilities relating to children, remedies and obligations arising from the breakdown of co-habitations, including unjustified enrichment. Ideally cases are negotiated and settled amicably but she has also acted for numerous clients where contested Court Proceedings have proved necessary.

Marjory has a particular interest in Child Protection and Protection from Abuse.

The UK Legal 500, an independent guide to the legal profession, describes Marjory as "approachable and empathetic - a very capable pair of hands".
