Professional experience
Roy is a Consultant at Lindsays with over 30 years’ experience in dealing with rural property matters. He is an acknowledged agricultural and crofting expert.
Roy is also recognised as one of Scotland’s leading advisors in education law, having provided advice to university and college sector clients for over 20 years. He has advised our university clients on a very diverse range of matters, including complex constitutional and governance issues and disciplinary matters involving both staff and students. He was also appointed as the Office of Law Agent at the University of Edinburgh from the 1980’s until 2008.
