Lesley is a Partner in our litigation group and heads Lindsays' family law team. She practices exclusively in family law and has many years' experience both in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Lesley deals frequently with the financial issues arising on separation or divorce including those involving an international dimension, companies, tax and pensions issues. She acts as Court reporter in child law cases and also advises clients in child issues including parental responsibilities and rights, residence, contact and child support. Lesley handles contentious cases as well as non-contentious cases including a substantial collaborative law practice. Lesley believes in providing a personal service tailored to her client's needs and wishes.

Alistair Mackie

Alistair is a Partner in Lindsays litigation group. He is a well-known family law practitioner with over 25 years' experience of a full range of family law issues including cohabitation and prenuptial agreements. Alistair specialises in financial issues arising both prior to cohabitation or marriage and on separation and divorce. He advises on and negotiates the division of assets including interests in property, partnerships, companies, sharesave schemes and pensions. If cases cannot be settled by agreement, he represents clients in court in divorce proceedings and in actions relating to children and protection from abuse. A member of the Scottish Collaborative Family Law Group, Alistair also sits as a part-time Chairman of Child Support Tribunals. He is married with two adult children.
David Doig

David is a partner in Lindsays' Litigation group and enjoys considerable experience as a family law practitioner. He advises on all aspects of family law, including financial and child law issues, on separation and divorce. He has acted as a court reporter in Sheriff Court child law matters.
David also has many years' including, co-ordination of Glasgow Sheriff Court agency appearances and the conduct of Fatal Accident Inquiries on behalf of both employer organisations and bereaved families. He seeks to achieve solutions through his empathy with clients, adopting a sensitive approach. He is a member of the Family Law Association and acts as a part time tutor in Civil Court Practice at Glasgow Graduate School of Law.
Jenny Nobbs

Jenny is an Associate in our Family Law Team. She advises clients on all aspects of family law including separation, divorce and child related issues, such as residence, parental rights and responsibilities, contact and relocation cases. Jenny also has experence in adoption and guardianship cases. Jenny practices in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court, where she appears regularly. Jenny is a member of the Family Law Association Committee and also sits on the Children's Panel in Edinburgh.
Jennifer Maciver

Jennifer Maciver is a Solicitor in our Family Law team. She joined us in March 2008 from Bonar Mackenzie.
Jennifer has a wide range of litigation experience but now specialises in family law. She handles both contentious and non-contentious cases and appears in court regularly. Her practice encompasses cohabitation, prenuptial agreements, financial issues on separation and divorce, and also cases involving children such as residence, contact and child abduction.
She offers sympathetic, practical advice and can give guidance on alternative dispute resolution options.

Joyce graduated with a BA (Honours) in Law from Napier University in 1996.
