A fixed fee preliminary advice package with an expert family lawyer covering advice on areas such as Divorce law in Scotland, Separation Rights, Parental Rights, Child Support & Maintenance, Prenuptual and Cohabitation Agreements.
The package comprises:
- An hour’s consultation with one of our family lawyers. During the consultation we will obtain relevant details from you and identify your priorities. We will then provide you with practical legal advice tailored to your situation.
- Following the consultation we will provide by letter or email a detailed note setting out the points discussed and the advice we provided. This note is designed either as an aide memoire or to assist you in any discussions you are having with your spouse or partner.
- We will also provide an estimate of costs for the next steps.
- You will receive a check list setting out the further information that would be required in order to progress your case towards an overall financial settlement or any other goals. This is designed to enable you to pull together the information personally thus mitigating costs.
- We will arrange, if appropriate, a free consultation with one of our in-house independent financial advisers who will work with us in cases involving division of assets including pension sharing. The financial advice is invaluable in planning for the future when projecting income and expenditure streams and ensuring affordability of planned settlements.
- We can also arrange for free mortgage and preliminary estate agency advice to be provided if helpful.
Our current fixed fee offer for this package is £299 inclusive of VAT and is valid until 30th October 2012.
