If you're keen to pursue a career in law and want to progress your academic skills with a growing firm, a traineeship with Lindsays may hold the key to unlocking your potential.

Why Lindsays?

Lindsays is a medium sized firm with an excellent reputation and a great future. Our varied specialist teams offer a diverse range of services, allowing us to cater to the individual needs of a broad spectrum of clients and providing our trainees with real scope to learn in a dynamic legal environment.

Our expanding range of corporate and commercial services, which include company law, corporate finance, intellectual property, technology, employment, charity law, commercial property and construction, enjoy an excellent reputation in the marketplace. In addition, our expert Litigation group deals with all aspects of civil and commercial litigation for a wide variety of clients.

The firm maintains strong residential property and private client services, the latter linked to an in-house Investment management team.

We offer a range of traineeships, which allow our trainees to gain a deep understanding of Lindsays' varied services, and also provides the opportunity to develop a degree of specialism which fits your personal skills and interests.

Traineeships in our head office in Edinburgh usually involve one full year with our Corporate & Technology department, followed by a year in our Commercial Property or Private Client departments. Traineeships in Glasgow usually consist of one year of Property and one year of Litigation, incorporating Employment Law. We also offer specialised traineeships in Commercial Property (incorporating elements of Rural and Construction Law) and Litigation. In addition, we offer more general traineeships in our Jedburgh office.
