Lindsays partnership raises £20,000 for SAMH
Generous support from clients is helping SAMH provide vital mental health services to people across Scotland
Read articleLife at Lindsays extends beyond the office and the desk. In addition to caring deeply about the quality of our advice, solutions, and services, we also care about our people and those around us.
As a firm, we’re proud to be a part of each other’s lives, and we support our team’s wellbeing through our culture and our social, sports, and community activities.
We support our people’s wellbeing and productivity through flexible working practices and a respect for life beyond the desk.
As part of our team, we trust you to do your best work in a way that is fully compatible with family life and overall work-life balance. We also understand that you may sometimes need additional flexibility to deal with short-term or longer-term challenges, and we strive to accommodate this.
Our regular events range from firm-wide drinks to charity fundraisers, volunteering days at individual offices, and ad hoc team lunches.
These events contribute to the culture at Lindsays and to our colleagues’ sense of belonging. They build trust and foster shared interests, connections, and friendships, while also supporting the good causes that matter to us, our communities, and our clients.
There are plenty of sport and wellbeing opportunities in the Lindsays calendar – including running and walking groups, a curling team, and our annual staff golf day.
If you prefer a different sporting activity – whether that’s a lunchtime yoga group, some football kickabout, charity cycling challenges, or simply watching other people play sport – you’re bound to find colleagues to join you.
We always encourage our early-stage lawyers to build networks with peers and other professionals, so we launched our Lindsays Links initiative.
Since launching the programme, we now run a range of Lindsays Links events across various locations, including quizzes and seasonal drinks, where trainees and newly qualified solicitors can invite contacts, expand their connections, and practise their networking skills in an informal setting.
I’m proud that the firm actively supports local causes and events in the communities it operates in.
