We instructed an independent doctor to examine our client to comment on his injuries, and after the medical report was received and approved, it was sent onto the third party insurers.
The third party insurers then offered us a settlement sum; however we felt this was a low offer considering the length of time it took our client to recover from his injuries. We recommended to that we return to the third party insurers and ask them to re-consider the offer. They obliged and increased the settlement sum to an acceptable amount which our client was happy to accept.
