Our Managing Partner Andrew Diamond tells us what's been happening since he took up the role in October 2025
Q: Have these first months been close to what you expected?
Andrew Diamond: Before becoming Managing Partner, I'd been on the Lindsays Management Board and head of a large department, so I had a good idea of what was involved. We had carefully planned the handover from our previous Managing Partner Alasdair Cummings to myself, so it's been a very smooth transition, and I am thoroughly enjoying my new role.
Q: Tell us about three significant developments since you took over the role?
Andrew Diamond: Firstly, I'd talk about our people. We've recruited talented staff at all career stages, we've had new partners promoted from within the firm, and we've greatly strengthened our Rural – Land and Business team. That's helping us meet the growing demand for our services.
The second development would be our new Perth office, which will enable us to develop our offering around Perthshire.
And the third would be the launch of our new website and brand which we're very excited about. We offer legal strength with the human touch and the new website really captures the essence of that.

Q: What would you like to see happening over your next year leading the firm?
Andrew Diamond: I'd like us to carry on achieving strong, sustainable, thoughtful growth. We understand the changes our clients are facing, and we want to make sure we've got good people with the right skills and empathy to help them manage those changes.
