Rural shows and events
Throughout the year, our Rural Land and Business team attends rural and agricultural shows across Scotland, from the Lothians to the Isle of Lewis, and from Kelso to Kirriemuir, engaging with farmers, landowners, and other professionals serving the rural sector.
By getting out and about and meeting farmers on their home turf, we can hear about their concerns – from land reform to succession planning – and also chat to them about upcoming issues that may affect them.
As well as attending multiple shows, we also sponsor many of them, helping to support the financial viability of these events which are so important to rural and agricultural communities and businesses.
In 2024, we also supported heritage talks held as part of the Clan Cameron Gathering at the Achnagarry Estate, Spean Bridge. Visitors travelled from as far as North America and New Zealand to take part in walks, talks and receptions and learn more about the history of the clan.
