Lindsays' merger with Dallas McMillan completes today, expanding our Glasgow team to more that 120 people and enhancing our services for clients across Scotland.
More than 40 new staff have joined Lindsays as the merger with Dallas McMillan officially takes effect.
The move strengthens our presence in Glasgow and sees the team working from our city centre office grow from 80 to more than 120 people. Across our offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and Crieff, Lindsays now has a team of over 420 people.
The merger was announced in June and marks another important step in the steady, sustainable growth of our firm. It is also the first merger to be completed under Managing Partner Andrew Diamond, who took up the role in October 2025.

The lawyers joining Lindsays advise individuals, families and businesses across a wide range of areas, including personal injury, employment law, commercial property, corporate matters, residential conveyancing and private client services such as wills and powers of attorney.

Importantly, no jobs have been lost as part of the merger.
The merger continues a long-standing strategy of considered growth for Lindsays. Previous mergers have included Shield & Kyd (2012), MacLachlan & MacKenzie (2012), RSB Macdonald (2015), Aitken Nairn (2018), Hadden Rankin (2019) and Miller Hendry (2023).
Lindsays first expanded into Glasgow in 2008 through a merger with Kidstons. Since 2017, our Glasgow team has been based in Queen Street, supporting clients across the city and beyond.
The completion of the Dallas McMillan merger follows a period of investment in our Glasgow operations, including the addition of our Rural - Land and Business team earlier this year, alongside senior appointments in our Private Client and Commercial Property teams.
