Caitlin Connolly is a Senior Associate in our Private Client Services team, supporting individuals, families and businesses to plan for the future.
Building on the rural property experience she gained during her traineeship at Lindsays, she regularly advises rural business owners and farming clients on succession planning and the related tax considerations.
Caitlin also has particular experience in guiding families and individuals through all the challenges that can arise with complex, contentious, or cross-border estates.
Caitlin is a Solicitor Supervisor with the University of Edinburgh's Free Legal Advice Centre supporting current law students to deliver pro bono advice to members of the local community.
She is an full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) being awarded the Diploma with Distinction, and in 2025, she received the Worldwide STEP Excellence Award 2025 for STEP Advanced Certificate in Wills and Executries: Law & Practice (Scotland).
She is also a Notary Public and is registered with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
