Trainee Solicitor Cheryl brings years of practical experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal to her role
Cheryl McDonald is a Trainee Solicitor in our Residential Property Team in our Perth office.
Before starting her traineeship at Lindsays, Cheryl worked for a number of years as a Conveyancing Paralegal in Perth. She gained her Specialist Paralegal Qualification through Strathclyde University in 2013 before completing an Accelerated LLB in 2023 and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2024, both at Robert Gordon University.
Cheryl is committed to inspiring the next generation of lawyers, and takes part in local careers fairs, as well as visiting schools to speak with students about pursuing a career in law.
Beyond her professional work, Cheryl takes an active role in her local community, including chairing her children’s school parent council and securing significant grant funding for the school. She is also a founding member of Uniform Matters, a community interest group that provides affordable school uniform items to families.
