Jenni draws on legal experience from Scotland and Australasia when supporting our rural clients on disposals and land registration
Jenni Rutherford is an Accredited Paralegal in our Rural – Land & Business team.
She regularly acts for our longstanding estate clients on disposals of properties, and also assists the team on land registration matters.
Jenni has over 15 years’ experience working within the legal profession, in Australia and New Zealand as well as in Scotland. Since joining our Lindsays Rural – Land & Business team, she’s continually built her knowledge of the specific requirements of our clients in this sector and the issues they deal with.
Jenni has been with Lindsays since July 2015 and studied for her Paralegal Qualification through CLT Scotland in association with Strathclyde University. After completing this in February 2018, she then studied for the Law Society of Scotland’s Trainee Accredited Paralegal programme which she successfully completed in March 2021.

That includes buying and selling, agricultural tenancies and crofting, access rights and servitudes, renewables, minerals and telecoms, rural disputes, and the contracts that support rural businesses. We also have specialist experience in Scottish barony titles and heraldry, including the sale and purchase of feudal dignities.
