Lesley Macdonald has more than 40 years of experience helping people navigate separation, divorce and other family law matters with confidence.
Lesley is particularly well known for her work in financial disputes arising from separation and divorce. She regularly advises clients in complex and high-value cases involving the division of assets, as well as in relation to cohabitee claims following separation or death.
Her expertise covers all aspects of family law, including financial settlements, arrangements for children, separation agreements, cohabitation claims and pre-nuptial agreements.
She works hard to minimise conflict where possible, while taking effective action to protect her clients’ interests when needed.
Lesley is also a former Dean of the Faculty of Solicitors in Dundee and has run her own practice, Lesley Macdonald Family Law, for the past nine years, having been a Partner at Lindsays prior to that time.
