Maeve is a Senior Solicitor in our Private Client team, based in Glasgow. She advises a wide range of clients, including executors and beneficiaries in the administration of estates, individuals in the preparation of tax-efficient Wills and Powers of Attorney, and the settlors and trustees of trusts, with a particular focus on Personal Injury Trusts. She adopts a proactive approach to advising clients and has a strong understanding of how personal circumstances can affect life planning advice.
Maeve is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues.
She is also a member of the Law Society of Scotland and a Notary Public.
Maeve is fluent in Spanish, and between qualification as a solicitor in 2016 and starting at Lindsays she gained a Master's Degree in Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class Honours degree in Law & Spanish, and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
