Molly is undertaking a two-year traineeship with Lindsays and is a member of our Rural team in Edinburgh.
Molly completed her LLB (Joint Hons Law and French) at The University of Edinburgh in 2018, achieving a Distinction in spoken French as part of her degree classification. She went on to complete her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh in 2019. During her Diploma year, Molly worked as an Operations Team Member for the University’s Free Legal Advice Centre: this role involved the running of the office/clinic nights and helped her gain valuable experience in dispute resolution and small claims. She was awarded the University’s Edinburgh Award (School of Law: Student Leaders) for her work at the Centre.
Inbetween
University and starting her traineeship at Lindsays, Molly worked for
the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency in Brisbane as a
Regulatory Officer: she assisted in the assessment and registration of graduate
medical professionals across Australia. Her work with Ahpra gave her an insight
into the regulation of other professionals and excellent experience in applying
legal knowledge to evolving situations.
