Philip Sim

Philip is a highly experienced commercial property lawyer, advising developers, investors, landlords, and occupiers across a broad range of property matters. His approach is shaped by many years of advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leasing, development projects, and property‑led business strategy.

Before joining Lindsays, Philip spent eight years running his own legal practice. Prior to that, he held Partner positions at a number of leading Scottish law firms. This combination of large‑firm experience and independent practice gives him a strong understanding of client priorities and the commercial realities they face.

Philip has advised on medical centre developments, projects involving filling stations, renewable energy schemes, hotels, industrial and commercial space, and residential developments, acting for developers, landlords and tenants. His work often involves complex, multi‑party transactions, where clear communication and trusted advice are essential.
