Philippa Abernethy Wales is a Senior Associate in our Family Law team.

She helps clients with a wide range of family law matters including separation, pre- and postnuptial agreements, child contact, surrogacy, and adoption. 

Philippa prides herself on her ability to provide practical and empathetic advice to clients and focuses on resolving matters pragmatically through negotiation. However, if court action is required, she has wide-ranging litigation experience in care arrangements for children, divorce, cohabitation, and relocation within Sheriff Courts across Scotland. 

As well as being a member of the Law Society of Scotland and a Notary Public, Philippa is a member of the Family Law Association and a collaboratively trained lawyer and member of Consensus Scotland.
