Sarah Taylor is a Director in our Rural – Land and Business team.
Sarah works with clients to provide guidance on succession planning, land transfer and lifetime gifting. She has considerable experience in the acquisition and disposal of farms, estates, forestry, sportings and country houses as well as providing support across a wide range of rural property matters, including agricultural holdings, general tenancy, environmental matters and diversification projects.
With a strong track record in handling larger commercial transactions in a rural context, Sarah’s work has also included commercial leasing, utilities, renewables and development options - areas in which she brings clear advice and deep sector understanding.

That includes buying and selling, agricultural tenancies and crofting, access rights and servitudes, renewables, minerals and telecoms, rural disputes, and the contracts that support rural businesses. We also have specialist experience in Scottish barony titles and heraldry, including the sale and purchase of feudal dignities.
