We are pleased to announce the promotion of six paralegals across all three of our city-based offices.
Starting their roles this month, our new Senior Paralegals are:
- Cheryl McCourt, who joined Lindsays following our merger with Kidstons - where she had worked since 2000 - in 2008. She became a Paralegal in 2011 and is part of the Residential Property team in Glasgow.
- Christine Jamieson, who works in the Employment team based in Glasgow. She also joined from Kidstons - where she had worked since 2004 - through the merger and became a Paralegal in 2016.
- Fiona Yuill, a member of the Private Client team based in Edinburgh. She joined Lindsays as a Paralegal through the firm’s merger with MacLachlan & MacKenzie in 2012.
- Patricia Adams, another member of the Private Client department in Edinburgh who joined as a Paralegal in 2019.
- Sandra Reid, a member of the Commercial Property team in Glasgow. She joined Lindsays as a paralegal in 2016.
- Tracey McCardle, who works as part of the Private Client team in Dundee. She joined Lindsays as a Paralegal in 2016.
For each, the move marks another step on their career ladder, with two of the cohort having started their careers as legal secretaries.
Cheryl, Christine, Tracey and Sandra are all accredited by the Law Society of Scotland and members of the Scottish Paralegal Association (SPA). Sandra has held the position of President of the SPA for the last five years and has been an office bearer for 10 years.
