On Sunday 17th August, a team of eight dedicated colleagues from our Dundee office stepped up - and out - for an incredible cause, taking part in the Kiltwalk Mighty Stride to raise funds for The Archie Foundation, the official charity of Tayside Children’s Hospital.
Braving the 20-mile route from St Andrews to Dundee, the team walked with purpose and pride, helping to make a difference to children and families across the region.
Together, they walked from the windswept West Sands in St Andrews, along scenic trails and through the Fife countryside, before crossing the Tay and finishing in Dundee’s Slessor Gardens.

Walking for children and families in Tayside
The team’s motivation? Supporting The Archie Foundation’s life-changing work. The charity plays a vital role in making hospital environments across North Scotland more child-friendly and accessible. They also provide bereavement support for young people, fund specialist medical equipment, and offer emergency financial assistance to families in crisis.
“Having the team at Lindsays support The Archie Foundation Tayside in the Kiltwalk means so much to us,” said Rebecca Duncan, Fundraising Manager at the charity.
“Not only does it raise vital funds, but it helps spread awareness of the work we do to make a difficult time that little bit easier for children and their families.”
After the finish line
Reflecting on the day, the team shared that the Mighty Stride was both physically challenging and emotionally rewarding.
“The atmosphere was incredible, and it was great to see so many people out supporting different causes,” said Rachel High, Associate in Lindsays’s Private Client team.
“Knowing we were doing it for such an important charity kept us going, even when our legs were starting to tire.”
And this is just the beginning. In the autumn, The Archie Foundation will be visiting our Dundee office to deliver child bereavement awareness training to our Private Client team, helping them to better support clients experiencing loss.
Support the cause
There’s still time to support the team and contribute to The Archie Foundation’s vital work. Donations can be made through their JustGiving page: justgiving.com/page/lindsayskiltwalk
At Lindsays, we’re proud of our people for going the extra mile - or in this case, 20 of them - to support local communities.
Well done to everyone involved!
